Greetings and Salutations from the Adjunct Faculty Assembly. We're a relatively new group, but we aren't new. Adjuncts have been around for a while and, since we're the current faculty majority, it doesn't look like we're going anywhere anytime soon.
The Adjunct Faculty Assembly calls the City University of New York (CUNY) and the College of Staten Island (Staten Island's CUNY campus) home. We hope this group will be a link between Adjuncts on our campus, between Adjuncts across CUNY, between part-time and full-time faculty, between the PSC-CUNY (our union) and adjuncts, and between our union chapter and us.
We have a lot of great things planned, but we'll need your help. If you have ideas for articles, please email us your thoughts. If you have an article about Adjunct issues, please feel free to submit those as well. Please read our Submission Guidelines first, however, before submitting ideas, abstracts, or articles.
